Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By launching or using the Rhizome Telegram Mini App (the “Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or have verified parental consent where required) and legally capable of entering a contract under the laws of the Netherlands. You access the Service via your Telegram account and may optionally connect a TikTok account.

3. The Service

Rhizome offers a Web3 Quests platform where users complete tasks, submit proof (e.g., TikTok post links) and receive rewards such as NFTs or experience points. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without liability.

4. User Responsibilities

You must:

Provide accurate information and keep it up-to-date.
Ensure any content or links you submit are your own or you have rights to share.
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and TikTok terms.
Not interfere with the Service, attempt to reverse engineer, or submit malicious code.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for spam, scams, hate speech, harassment, or illegal activities.
Artificially inflate engagement metrics (likes, views, comments) using bots or paid farms.
Violate intellectual-property or privacy rights of others.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, trademarks, graphics and content of the Service (excluding user-generated content) belong to RHIZOME B.V. or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service solely for its intended purpose.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service interacts with Telegram, TikTok, blockchain networks, and other third-party APIs. Rhizome has no control over these services and is not responsible for their availability or content. Your use of them is governed by their respective terms and policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that quests, rewards, or metrics are error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rhizome’s aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed €100 (one hundred euros) or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (whichever is greater). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold RHIZOME B.V., its directors and employees harmless from any claims or damages arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, cause legal risk, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination the licence granted to you ends and Sections 6–13 survive.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Hague, Netherlands after a 30-day informal negotiation period. Consumers in the EU may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

13. Changes to Terms

We may amend these Terms by posting an updated version and notifying you within the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Miscellaneous

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining Terms remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RHIZOME B.V. regarding the Service.
